More and more we hear about the power of energy.
For numerous decades the power of nature and its healing properties has been known, so I ask you…
have you ever hugged a tree?? Or even simply touching it for a couple if minutes??
Yes, it can seem weird, but I challenge you to try… staying in the moment, a couple of minutes and embrace the energy…
To connect with nature has various advantages and is good for both physical & mental well-being.
Trees have been considered sacred in many cultures, worshiped by others and are known to have a big vibrational energy.
When touching a tree, its vibrational properties are different from our own and it absorbs our negative energy while we are able to take in the tree’s beneficial qualities.
Japan for ex. practices what they call the “Shinrin Yoku” or forest bath, which is the act of bathing ourselves in nature for therapeutic benefits.
We know that being outside outdoors in nature reduces stress and boosts out mood, so why not go a step further and conscientiously take advantage of what nature presents us with?
There are various benefits in connecting with trees:
It is proven to reduce stress hormone production ( reduces cortisol)
Boosts feelings of happiness ( improves oxytocin levels)
Frees up creativity ( by also being in a green open space)
Makes you being more aware of the moment, more mindful and in the “here and now” ( because when you hug or touch a tree conscientiously you allow an energy flow)
Grounding ( A tree's vibrational patterns have a healing, revitalizing effect, which can help us feel more grounded)
Creates a sense of appreciation and gratitude ( gratitude is good for your emotional health and helps you boost serotonin )
These are a few general benefits of “ tree hugging” and actually you can enjoy it even further when you share the experience of hugging trees with others, it’s a great thing to do whilst out on a walk with family &/or friends!
So again, when you have the time, or when you feel the need, give it a try, go out there, look around and choose a tree that calls out to you,....I am sure that it will do you good!!

Tree hugging is all you’ve described and more. It is a wonderful connection with a special living being. It‘s a sharing moment of energy which carries all the advantages you mentioned. it helps us humans grounding ourselves and benefit from the pure vibration of the tree. Incredible exchange! Never miss an opportunity such as this. If you say you have no trees around, gardening (even with pots) can already be very beneficial.
Thank you, Patricia!!’ Absolutely wonderful!! 🙏❤️
